Spring is now on us and this excellent green roof installed in London is starting to bloom. Although much of the seeds and plug plants are yet to bloom, a few Cowslips are already raising their heads to the London Sky to attract bees from around the immediate vicinity.
An hour spent in a park in Golders Green in the London Borough of Barnet watching bumblebees laden with pollen from crocii. The first hint of Spring after a long and cold winter.
Spent a lovely hour on a garage green roof at the home of Dr. G.Kadas’ garage green roof, my good friend who is one of the world’s leading green roof and invertebrate biodiversity researcher. A lovely hour as today felt like the first day of spring.
