LESSER SPOTTED WOODPECKER
Thursday, April 10th, 20080530 woke to the sound of what could only be a lesser spotted woodpecker calling in the street. Fantastic. I was to be honest concerned that i was imagining this. However the bird continued to call throughout the morning and by 10.00 it was perched high on the lime opposite my window. A LSW.
